2010

 

As an avid scuba diver, I was devastated when the BP oil spill occurred in 2010.

 

I began exploring the idea of body and landscape by putting my body into the work through action painting and letting the environment affect and even destroy the work.

 

Many of these pieces were made during a residency in Ireland.
